Donutless City...

Sometimes I crave for donuts.  Not Krispy Kreme Donuts.  I don't like fluffy light donuts, I like deep fried old fashioned donuts.  Last night I had one of those cravings, but I realized that in Tokyo there's no Dunkin Donuts and the Mister Donuts near my house was gone.  I looked at the Mister Donuts website and saw that there wasn't a store in Shibuya-ku.  Where was I gonna get my donuts? So I decided to make some.  This recipe is real easy.  It can be prepared in 15 min since it uses pancake mix.

Easy Old Fashioned Donuts

The Recipe:
200 g pancake mix
20 g melted butter
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoons of sugar
1) Mix all the ingredients together to make dough.
2) Flatten dough out and cut out with donut cutters or you can just make tiny balls.  Leave for 10 min.
3) Heat some oil in a deep pan.  Fry until golden brown.
