Spiciest Thing Ever...

I made Chile con Carne the other night.  Not the typical American chili with ground beef, but chile con carne with real carne.   Bandie Wandie said it was the spiciest thing I've ever made, but he loved it! Yay Yay!

Chile Con Carne
Chili Paste...
The Recipe:
To make the paste:
1 tablespoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 tablespoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
3 tablespoons of water
To make soup:
3 strips of bacon
500 grams of beef (chuck roast if available)
salt
1 onion chopped
3 garlic cloves
1 can tomato
3 cups water
1 tablespoon lim 
1 teaspoon sugar
1 can kidney beans
1 tea cornstarch dissolved in 3 tablespoons of water
shredded cheese, sour cream, tortillas chips, avocado
1) Mix together dry ingredients and mix with water to for chili paste.
2) Cook bacon until crispy, crumble and set aside.
3) In bacon drippings, cook beef and set aside.
4) Cook onions, garlic and chili paste for 4 min and mix in beef.
5) In a large pan, combine together beef mixture, tomato, water, lime, sugar.  Cook for 2 hours.
6) Add beans and cornstarch water mix.  Stir until thick.
7) Serve with sour cream, tortillas, bacon, avocado, cheese.

this chili is fantastic.. though i would prefer it with ground beef instead of steak chunks...

its like chili but better.. .way better than what youre thinking.. and i love chili so its not a stretch.. but this one is more complex and flavorful than anything ive ever had...

its like empire strikes back compared to star wars.... same theme but different, better, and more satisfying!
