Comfort Food...

For some reason, everyone loves spaghetti with meatballs.  Probably because they had it as a little kid.  That's how my Bandie Wandie is.  It's nothing special, but he loves it.
Spaghetti with Meat Balls
The Recipe:
Meat Balls:
500 g ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon parsley
salt and pepper
1 cup panko or bread crumbs
1 egg
1) Mix above ingredients and make them into little balls.
2) In greased skilled, cook until brown.
Sauce:
2 cans tomato
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 onion chopped
1/2 carrot minced
1/4 cup red wine
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon oregano
salt and pepper
parmesan cheese
1) Sauteed onion, garlic, carrot in skillet for 4 min.
2) Add cans of tomato, wine and meat balls.  Cook for 40 min.
3) Add parsley, oregano, wine, salt pepper, parmesan cheese.  Add to cooked pasta.
